The Pool!
Our House!
In April my grandmother Chuck passed away. She was one of my favorite people, and I still think about her often. Even though I lost a grandmother, I gained a nephew a few weeks later. On April 20, 2009 Stephen Evans Spooner was born. We have really enjoyed him! When he was first born his parents would come over to swim or eat, and Stephen Jr. would usually get pretty upset and cause them to leave. However, the past few visits have been successful, and he is getting bigger and sweeter everyday!

May seemed to drag on forever because I was anxious for the month to end. I finished my first year of teaching, and the last day in May was my last day of work for the 2008-2009 school year. I have always loved summer, but this summer has been especially enjoyable and relaxing. It is going to be hard to head back to school in August.
Ths is my school!
May was also exciting because Nick and I celebrated our one year anniversary! It is hard to believe we have been married a year! Time flies when you are having fun!

Hey Lucy -- I'll be your first comment. I LOVE this -- love reading about you and seeing all the photos. I'm so glad you and Nick are loving your house.
ReplyDeleteI'm scouting out good places for your second anniversary trip to Northern California. I stayed in a great place in Napa for a retreat and I know another great one in Sonoma -- lots of options.
Take care and love to Nick --
Lynn
