Easter Eggs

This is my version of decorating Easter Eggs.

And they were delicious.

While I decorated, this little one was busy.

She opened every cabinet that wasn't latched closed and continued to pull everything onto the floor.

Of course Easter is not about the pretty eggs.

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

I am thankful to celebrate Easter. I am thankful for Jesus' sacrifice.

One of my favorite little devotional books is Our Daily Bread. Our church gives them away, but I just found that you can read it online too. Go to odb.org to see. At the bottom of each page they give a one sentence summary of the reading. Today it said, "Christ's sacrifice was what God desired and our sin required."

Thank you Jesus for dying for me.
