4th of July!

The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays! It all began when I was at Camp DeSoto in Mentone, AL. I spent 8 summers at camp. Our 4th of July celebration was filled with dressing in our red, white, and blue, a track meet between the 3 tribes, dressing in costums to attend the county fair, eating watermelon, and ending the day with a fireworks show. When I was growing up this was one holiday that I never celebrated at home. However, my latest 4th of July tradition is to go to my hometown of Greenville, MS and hang out at my cousins' cabin on a lake in Arkansas. This is a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation. These pictures show how this year's 4th was celebrated with my family!

This is how my dad, Stephen Jr. and Sarah Barry began the weekend!

One of our yummy meals. Seafood gumbo!

God Bless America!
